It was your birthday last week, so I'll let you do that to my car someday as a late present, a late second present.
Was this done with the stuff I suggested you buy? Or something else?

Something else sir......I will do it to your car too. That's not even a question. Question is when? It still needs some refinement, but I'm pretty pleased. More because i did this all in the dark, I mean lighting in a garage at night is not really great. I saw i left some residue on some parts .........

I'm still working on the firewall. I stopped since that day, i don't have time recently. I will take more pics when I'm done 100%. This is the first time I did and engine.......I still need more practice, then i can perfect it. :)

The dirtiest part on your car looks brand new compared to the cleanest parts on my car... :glare:

Hey dont know if you remember from sunday im the kid with that slipping AT...anyway if you want to try to make all of the aluminum (valve cover, timing chain cover that usim, etc) like a mirror, take some fine steel wool to it then some of this aluminum polish after....it takes a while but it turns out pretty nice, if you can remember my usim? i hadnt had the time to clean it for 3 weeks before that.

btw the intake is pretty porous so lightly take med grit sandpaper first:banghead:

I saw, I rememeber, and will take into consideration. I used some we sanding papaer, brcause I wanted less lines that are created form harsh pads, or sandpaper.........

I guess I know what I'll be doing to the intake manifold duck left me. Of course after I gasket match all the runners and smooth them out.

a32se99's my brother. its pretty time consumig though, the steel wool. and it turns your hands black for a week so, i would suggest gloves. i did the cam cover on my 4g63 and it turned chrome while my hands turned black. if you sand it first to get it smoothe, then steel wool, use some aluminum polish to shine it up. i used some rim cleaner polish crap and it works great. you should try it to get a little more shine under your hood.
