1/18/08 Melrose Park GP meet

ok, so my brother and his acura friends are doing this thing again.

in two sundays at 1pm at melrose park grand prix.

im tellin you, if you havent been its a must, a bunch of fun and alot cheaper than chicago indoor racing. about $45 for 3 races, gets you approximately 30 minutes of racing. now if more people go, we get a bigger discount so races will be a bit cheaper. i dont know exactly how much, but they do knock off a few bux per race.

let me know if your down for going.

I'll let you know what's up. I've been going to my moms on Sundays lately and planning activities with the nephew, so not sure if I'll be able to make it. But I'll let you know next week.

Is there a certain age you have to be in order to race? What do you wear?

I may be in, depending on if I work or not. If I can get couple buddies interested, I will make sure I get the day off.

age no... just need a driver's lincese AFAIK

all the gear is provided, suit and helmet, neck brace and etc.

paul is 45$ including what it cost to regsiter for the first time?

yep i think that cost is with registration.

and you dont need to bring anything. everything is provided.

isn't there a gokart license also... I swear that when I went to a place last time they said we need somekind of license
