In-car R32 Camera in Snow at Autobahn 4/6/09

Finally got this uploaded..

NOTE that the R32 is NOT our normal track car (I never intended it to be out on the track) but snow and 32 degree and snow tires w/AWD dictated it was most ideal to use for the 1st few sessions until the snow melted and the track warmed up a bit.. lol

So this is a 100% stock R32 on skinny little 205 50 17 snow tires on Autobahn South Track (they didnt' open the full track until after lunch because of too much ice and slush 'danger')

Must be nice...so how much do you guys actually pay to be able to go on these tracks?

IT varies but because I'm an instructor, I paid $250 for all 3 days instead of $550 the normal folks paid. I had 2 students all 3 days.

Some venues give you free track time but up to 3 students so it varies greatly.

Also it isn't really free because you do still have to pay for fuel, tires, brakes (sometimes hotel) and there is your 'time' instructing noobs and putting your life in their hands so-to-speak. ..but I've been instructing since 1999 and only had one 'scare' so far. (now I don't instruct cobra kit cars ;) )

Maybe you can be my instructor as well but since I cant afford the track you'll have to teach me in regular streets I know just a place in Bensenville where its nice and curcy and all factories

um yeah... let's just wait until you can afford a track day... It's $140 for the one on May 10th (much more affordable) if you can make that one.

I have a perfect driving record (no tickets ever on my license) and hope to keep it that way.. I keep my speeding and aggressive driving to the track

Yup and we are back at Autobahn full track on monday again so fun times!!!
