clutch on a 3.5
im looking at getting a 3.5 6 speed. but my dad doesnt want to do a clutch on it when it goes. and i dont think i could cause i dont even have a license or a job. does anyone know if its a pain in th e butt to replace? is the a32 easier. the answer to this question will determine if he lets me get a stick or an auto so try to be honest. thanks a lot

well the clutch itself will cost you around 300 bucks, while you are changing it why not get a lighter flywheel like fidanza.

so how much, if any of you have, did you pay to have a new clutch installed? with everything necessary?

I do them here for 250.... and you won't have to return many times for corrections/repairs due to some boneheaded mechanic. It shouldn't take more than 2 hours to do it.

I resurface the flywheel if it is resurfacable for that amount. I don't know what the clutch parts cost. New stuff for a 95-01 Maxima are bout 300 bux if you go with OEM clutch.

they are a little more expensive for the 3.5. i think it costs somewhere near the $500 range. i had to give an estimate to some kid that fried the clutch in his 02 altima. fucking idiot if you ask me. car barely hit 30k miles.
